something that i cook!!
I used to work in a restaurant which closed down few years back. Let me talk a abit about my working experience before going into details on the drooling picture above. It is called Fetucini Carbonara My Style~ hehehe! okay, i worked in the restaurant that i mentioned just now. At first i was the dish washer, then promoted to doing food preparation, then to doing the cooking in the kitchen, preparing beverages and finally the waiter. haha! which was quite hard. So the receipe was actually from the restaurant, a chef there thought me all the skills to cook. *im honoured* it was challenging and it thought me the value of "work harder get pay harder" My salary was B$250 and i tell you it was not worthed for the workload we did. anyways~ i got off with the secret receipe and the skills~ which i value greatly.
Coming back to something i cook~ i finally mastered the ingredient andd.... i will share the ingredients.. hehehe! im not sure if its delicious, one thing for sure,people i know still wants more.. As a food lover, i will now share the receipe and hope everyone would try it
Fetucini Carbonara My style!! (You can rename it to whatever you wish!!)
The basic ingredients are:
1 Packet of fetucini pasta (available at any grocery store)
2 Capcicums (to be cut in cubes)
2 Beef stock (in cube)
2 Chicken stock (in cube)
6-10 Pieces of garlic finely chopped (depends how much u wana add in recommended is 6)
1/2 Full cream milk from the box (*duh*)
3 Table spoon of mayonese
3 Table spoon of tomato ketchup
1 Cheddar chesse ( the square one wrapped in plastic)
parmesan cheese (for garnishing)
black pepper ( grinded one )
salt
Mixed herb
Thyme *dried one* (available in grocery stores)
1 Chicken breast
3-4 tablespoons of oil

Important preparation:
- Put the chicken and beef stock in a bowl and add hot water. Stir it until it dissolves and add black pepper according to your taste. Call it Stuff A
- Mix the mayonese and ketchup together in a bowl. Call it Stuff B
- Cut the chicken breast into cubes and marinate with salt and dried thymes and grilled it till golden brown. Call it Stuff D
- Boil the fetucini pasta (add a pinch of salt) Call it Stuff C
- Put the oil in the pot ( its much easier using a big pot)
- Dump all the garlic in and cook till it smells good ( dont burn it ) and then put the capcicum in. cook for few minutes to let the capcicum caramelizes and ooze the natural flavor out.
- Dump in the Stuff C and mixed it well so that all the flavor will be absorb into the fetucini.
- Add the Stuff A and stir carefully.
- Now pour in the milk and let it reduce abit.
- Add on the Stuff B and mix it thoroughly.
- Turn off the fire and shred the cheddar cheese into the mixture and stir.
- This is the right time to add the mixed herb and dont forget to stir it.
- You are done!!
- Add the fetucini carbonara in a bowl
- Put the Stuff D on top and spread the parmesan cheese on it
- Eat it while hot.
- Enjoy~
